I was thinking of buying a sonore microrendu and connecting wifi to my network will it work with the sonore or does the laptop have to be wired?
The microRendu only has an Eternet input, so it has to be wired. The Roon Core has to be on the same network as the microRendu but could be connected to that network by Wi-Fi.
I prefer a wired connection to the Core where possible, especially if you may be playing files stored elsewhere on the network.
