My RoPiee device works great on ethernet but won’t stay connected on Wifi. It sitting 5 feet away from the AP and i’ve had claude do a full monitoring and review of my Unifi network with it and we’ve both determined it’s got to be something with the Raspberry Pi or RoPiee software. Sometimes it will play for 15 mins before I have to restart it…sometimes a few mins. Sometimes it actually freezes and I can’t hit the admin web page and have to hard boot although it shows connected on the router.
i’ve seen past posts about Wifi problems but they are older so not sure if this is a known problem and Wifi just isn’t supported?
There are many reports here of poor WiFi connection on Pi’s and I seem to remember Harry giving a list of supported external antennas a few years ago. I used one on one of mine at the time and it made huge improvement to the WiFi quality and playback reliability

Also, if you haven’t already done so, reconfigure Ropieee so it is using either Ethernet or WiFi.
hi - sorry who is@spockfish and is there a github repo where I can post the logs? My wifi is very strong and the pi is basically floating in air a few feet from AP where I also use for my work laptop. Something in OS is going wrong…unkess I got a bum Pi…
