WiFi using the 8822bu chipset

Can I use an external WiFi dongle using the 8822bu chipset with Ropieee? When using dietpi, I managed to install a working driver and everything went smoothly.

Of course. It gives me an error when I try to enable the wifi interface.

Ok. This is a ‘maybe’. The RealTek drivers are a pain in the ***.

What kinda Pi model do you have?
