Try updating your graphics driver from the Dell site, not windows update.

Windows auto updated a few days ago , it has a habit of overwriting your chosen drivers with its “best fit”

As @ged_hickman1 suggests above get the OEM driver from your Video Card manufacturers site

Otherwise , try and ethernet cable even as a try if its not practical . A LARGE library is going to struggle on WiFi , Roon moves lot of data. Also a 1.8ghz processor may struggle with a BIG library. Define Big (eg mine is 170k tracks)

If that fails you may have a db corruption , see this thread from support as well (a sticky thread seems to have gone missing !!)

Hi @bjg

Please try each of these steps, and try to launch Roon after each.

  1. Reboot the Windows machine
  2. Reinstall the Roon app
  3. Disable the devices firewall
    1. If this helps, please enter an exception in the firewall for Roon and RAATServer
  4. Uninstall and reinstall the graphics drivers directly from the manufacturer’s website
    1. Don’t use Window’s automatic driver updates for this — We’ve seen this cause issues in the past
  5. Download .NET Framework and reinstall it

Thanks, reinstalling graphics drivers worked. Glad it wasn’t a corrupted database or anything!
