Windows 11 Smart Apps stopping Roon

I have just accepted the Hot Fix , and when I did the main update I saw the same behavior.

Some DLL’s do not have current security certificates and SmartApp shows a Notification saying so and stops the loading of that DLL.

For the main update it crippled Roon , this one at least Roon has started

The work around is easy just turn off SmartApps, Download the Correct Installer then install . Finally turn SmartApps back on

This is on Windows 11 Home fully up to date

Thanks for the heads up! We have a ticket in with development to take a closer look into this.

Thanks for sharing a workaround as well, for the time being.
