now Roon can play PingPong with Apple or try to get them into it, i personally think:

do what has to be done for best service for your valued customers!

Keep connection alive on iPad

Using build 88 on an iPad Air 2 and finding that when I switch away from Roon to say check email, when I switch back, Roon says disconnected from server and needs to reconnect. It’s not a big deal, but a little distracting with the screen flashing back and forth. Is it possible to keep the connection alive or wait longer before the disconnected screen shows up? Thanks.

Background Refresh

Roon app does not show up in ‘background Refresh’ settings (Settings>General>Background App Refresh). Running latest iOS (9.3.5). Will the Roon app be updated so that background refresh can be set?

Roon iOS app response time?

What determines the response time on my iDevices ? The server HW ?, as long as you know for sure your home LAN is fast. Local files is not on same device as Roon Core if that matters. All network hard wired. Every time I close the iPad, or switch to an other task, the app “loose” connection with the core. I suppose this is how it shall or is intend to work or ? Even the iPeng app was faster if I rememberer correctly. Can I set some sort of keep alive state or time ? This is not a problem, th…
