Im feeding my Yamaha S801 from my Roon server via USB. When playing native DSD, Roon states that it is playing DSD, the light on the Yamaha displays DSD but when I look at the Steinberg Asio driver it shows 88Khz. If I play a 192Khz FLAC the driver shows 192Khz and the receiver shows PCM as it should.
Is the Yamaha really playing DSD and the 88Khz is a just the way it displays?
If I set the driver to a DSD setting it goes to 88Khz as soon as I play a DSD, like I said, the DSD light still comes on.
