Yamaha YSP-2700 Soundbar - Subwoofer stops playing

Hello,

I just integrated a Yamaha YSP-2700 Soundbar as playback device via Airplay. Every few seconds the Subwoofer stops playing for one or two seconds and then comes back again. The rest via the soundbar itself sounds just as usual.

When I use Airplay without roon it works perfectly.

Does anybody have an idea how to fix this?

You can try telling Roon to convert everything to 48/24 as that is the format it would expect for TV use.

Roon automatically is sample rate converting, if necessary, to 44.1 kHz for AirPlay compatibility. That should not be the problem, nor need be adjusted in settings.

Honestly, this does not at all sound like a Roon issue. Rather, it is a Yamaha issue. Try Yamaha tech support.
