What I would do in your situation is, if you can, connect your Roon core straight to the EEro pro router and see if you get the same drops or issues. This would ultimately create a direct connection going right out to the internet without any internal networking going on. If you don’t get drops, then hook the unmanaged switch back up and see if you get drops.
Btw, if you are getting drops after hooking Roon core to the EEro pro router then it might be your provider. This is just a good way to do your own troubleshooting so you can figure out your point of failure.
