'You are already signed in' message, have to unauthorise every time Mac Mini restarts

I’m running my Roon core on a Mac Mini M1. Each time I restart the Mac mini I get the ‘you are already signed in’ message from Roon and I have to unathorise then it starts up. Sometimes I have to reenter email and pw.

I know that I can fix this by unauthorising but that defeats the purpose of having Roon start when the Mac starts (such as after a software update) if I have to go to Roon each time to unauthorise - the mac mini is dedicated to running my Roon core and runs headless.

The error tells me under devices that the device I am already signed into is the Core on the same mac mini.

I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling but the issue persists.

Hi @OnBoardAtLast,

Please take the following steps and let us know if it resolves this issue:

  • Create a Backup of your current database
  • Exit out of Roon
  • Navigate to your Roon Database Location
  • Find the folder that says “Roon”
  • Rename the “Roon” folder to “Roon_old”
  • Reinstall the Roon App from our Downloads Page to generate a new Roon folder
  • Verify if the issue persists on a fresh database before restoring the backup
