Young Man (Blues) by Mose Alison, not Elton John

The Who’s rendition of Young Man Blues (on both Kids are Alright and Tommy extras material) is identified as being composed by Mose Alison, Elton John, and Bernie Taupin. The latter two, as far as I can tell, had nothing to do with the composition (at least wikipedia doesn’t credit them).

The version on Live at Leeds, Whos Next extra material, etc do not credit Elton John and Taupin.

Just checked mine - look OK - were some tags set wrongly before importing into Roon?

Elton John / Bernie Taupin wrote Screw You (Young Man’s Blues) - on Yellow Brick Road.

Nope, it’s definitely coming from Roon. Even if I remove them in the tag editor, it still shows them when I search.

Hi @Mike_Pinkerton. I’ve asked Rovi to sort out their composer attributions for lots of their tracks of Young Man Blues performed by The Who. However, as the attributions appear on so many tracks, it’s possible that these attributions are actually in the cover notes (even if incorrect). Let’s see what they say.

Thank you!!!

Rovi has made the updates, so hopefully, within a week or so, these will propagate through to your library.
