Your daughter is extremely lucky to have escaped, I’m glad to hear she’s unhurt.
Thank you. She’s is very fortunate to have done so. She is, by nature, very tough minded and determined. She has a busy few days before her.
I can only echo this after another afternoon spent sorting through wreckage from my sister’s flooded house.
We had a basement that would flood to ~3’ when I was a kid. Humbling.
Or butter.
Hope all works out okay. Force Majeure can be a Motherf**ker. Best wishes to you and yours.
Liked the photo, but definitely not the circumstances!
Thanks for the support. It was worse than we thought, that is one of several rooms. She was on the bed where the beam fell.
Looks awful - so happy to hear your daughter is OK, that could have been very nasty indeed. Take care.
Looks worse on this photo.
Glad everyone is ok at least.
Are they in Athens?
Yes, Jim, Athens. Two of the four live in Athens. The other media is video so cannot post. It is very impressive…oppressive. That is the photographer daughter and her brother in law in the last photo. They all converged to move what could be into storage. They are exhausted. Tomorrow they try to find a place to live.
Time for this thread to get back to its intended purpose. Thanks y’all for the concern. Now post some cool stuff.
Rainbow Falls, was just there mid-February.
Is that panoramic 34?
