Description of Issue

New firmware (not Beta) of Zidoo z9x plays multichannel DSD over DoP without problem thru the built in music player. When playing thru Roon it converts to 2 channel and also change sampling rate.

Thank you for the report and I’m sorry to hear you’re experiencing issues. Out of curiosity, are you applying any Procedural EQ in your chain when you experience this mixing problem? There’s a known bug we’re working to resolve with Procedural EQ disrupting channel assignment, most often manifesting with a DAC (here’s the thread).

Regardless, the team will investigate diagnostics from your Core to determine if there’s an issue within Roon or your settings so we can proceed accordingly. Please equip the technical support team with the following, at your convenience:

1. A screenshot of your Signal Path within Roon when you experience this issue
2. A screenshot of the Device Setup page for the affected Zone/endpoint/DAC
3. An example of an affected DSD track in your library or an approximate timestamp of when you last experience this, so we can pinpoint the issue in logs.
