Zip file upload failure causing MacBook Pro connection issue (ref#324G8T)

I tried to upload a zip file to Roon unsucessfully and now my MacBook prow will not connect with

I tried unsuccessfully to upload a Zip file to my Roon and now my MacBook Pro will not connect to Roon server. My other I Pads do connect however.

Thanks for reaching out. Looking over your account details, it looks like you have a Sonictransporter as your Roon Server. Do other remotes still connect and it’s just the Macbook that’s affected? If so, you can try to wipe and reinstall the Roon app on the Macbook with the below instructions, let us know if this helps!

Let’s try a fresh database and see if your issues persist:

  • Create a Backup of your current database
  • Exit out of Roon + RoonServer if running (from taskbar area)
  • Navigate to your Roon Database Location
  • Find the folder that says “Roon Server” and “Roon”
  • Rename the “RoonServer” folder to “RoonServer_old” and “Roon” to “Roon_old” (only on the Mac, not the primary server)
  • Reinstall the Roon App from our Downloads Page to generate a new Roon folder
  • Connect to previous Roon Server
