Well done Tim, You used your head and your ears. Not to mention one of the reasons to use roon.
Measurements help yet ears are the tools for final measurement to enjoying the music (to some other readers: I know, I know; brain, mood, bias, treatment etc.) I have a dB meter, yet roon + measuring speaker to seat distance was way easier.
My speakers are 4.5 meters apart and toed into a sweet spot seating position, not quite equidistant. The sound stage is front and centre, side by side, more than 180 degrees and pretty much 3D.
