Billed $149 for what?

I am just trying to use products that I purchased. Do I need to logout of the ROCK and back into the Mac? Is there an article on how do I create a network share on a Mac?

Please read this:

FAQ: How do I create a shared folder on Mac and add it as a watched folder in Roon?

The knowledge Base is a useful resource.

Thank You it’s working

Again thank you. What’s the best way to see what device was the $149 charge for? I suspect it may have been for the ROCK but would be nice to know. I’ll check Back on this later. Using the ROCK now. I’ll see if Roon says there’s a yearly active that would confirm. If not, what was it for?

I’ve only used the Mac and ROCK FOR SERVERS.

Yo, dude, you’re making poor @Geoff_Coupe keep telling you over and over that you’re exposing your email. This is the online equivalent of having a friend who has to keep telling you that your fly’s unzipped.

Just edit this post and delete the image - it’s not necessary now.

Your subscription is tied to your license - not any device. You can move your license to another Roon Server if you need to.

How many licenses do I need?

As I said, the Knowledge base is a useful resource.

It is not my desire to burden Geoff. The Roon chat forum is very confusing. I’ve worked in IT since 1984 but only started actively using ROON less than a year.

I am very literal and very experienced. How am I exposing my email? What am I doing in communications that is exposing my email?

Again my apology to Geoff and others I have inconvenienced.

Your email is visible in your screenshot. That’s what @Geoff_Coupe is referring to and it’s why I suggested you just delete it.

Okay now I know. No more screenshots

Screenshots are very helpful in diagnosing issues - just don’t have screenshots that include your email address.

I see that you still haven’t removed it - so I’ll do it for you.

Ok thank you. I’m working until evening

You should be receiving an email receipt each time you are charged – check both of the email addresses that you used, and each charge should have an itemized description.

As mentioned earlier, charges are for the Roon license, not by device. Check which email address you used for logging into the ROCK, and look for receipts at that email.

You’re subscription is not tied to a device…

Please follow this advice to get help from Roon ‘s accounts department…

Here is a link to @Geoff_Coupe’s post that details with words and pictures what you need to do …

Hi Carl. I opened a ticket on Monday but no response?

Well, looking at your ticket, you didn’t direct it as an account question, but just “something other”. So I’ll do what we do in these situations - make it a PM and flag @accounts directly.

Hey @Randall_Sanders, we greatly appreciate your tenacity in trying to get to the bottom of this.

While when necessary, our accounts & billing team is happy to connect over Community, generally, for account and billing related issues, we primarily communicate via email.

I see that our team is already doing just that (albeit a bit delayed). So that we can continue to investigate this matter, would you mind continuing this conversation over email instead? :folded_hands:
