You can find the relevant settings under Settings/Library/Import Settings. At the bottom of the long page you will find the section I clipped below.
Note that you can specify where Roon grabs the Version information and which “types” of brackets Roon should OR should not pay attention too. This is important as that allows you to use Square brackets for Roon version information, and, by shutting off “curly brackets”, have a space for you to make notations to yourself in your collection.
I would choose one method and disable the others for consistency. I personally use square brackets.
