I can’t say that i had noticed Roon slowing down during the 24hr internet access period but since the update earlier this evening everything is noticeably faster, near instant screen refresh, I’m impressed again.

There are several threads about Roon acting very slowly since the continous internet acces as I have the same behaviour. And no sign of improvement so far, so it was one happy day before everything went downhill again. That indeed would imply another problem. But what does it matter? To the ones with this behaviour it is almost unusable. I sincerely hope that Harman will make more new strategic decisions - maybe some like:
More resources to Technical Support
Deadlines for open tickets (Maybe a little shorter than three years?)

for bringing back the offline functionality.
The previous loss of this functionality was really, really annoying to this user who was perfectly happy with the existing search function (along with Focus). But it was brought into sharp relief when (before the new release) we had a neighborhood power outage that lasted just a few minutes, but we then subsequently lost the broadband service for 2 days - and then it would intermittently come on and off for a few more days - rendering Roon unusable in a most annoying manner.
