If your Android device has MQA inbuilt then room will utilize it to a “high resolution”. Not advocating or decrying MQA just pointing out a facility.
Ged, that signal path is only showing Roon recognizing the MQA authentication, not that it is actually doing the unfold. If it was doing the unfold it would have the additional decode line as in the following:
Oh ok. Good point. It doesn’t make any difference to me as I use Sony Bluetooth headphones with it. It’s a terrible dap battery randomly discharges overnight, headphone socket only secures one in ten jack’s etc etc etc.
