I use the Roon Ready Lan connection from Nuc to S88 for 8 ch and 2 ch playback. I haven’t tried the S88 USB setup.
That would be the advantage over the 88 vs 68. Then you still have 2 free USBs. Plus upgradable DACs. After a second look comparing them, the 88 looks very tempting.
