Funnily enough I just got my DAC and iems to test, so I won’t worry about that then.
Glad you are liking it, I really find it an excellent music player.
PlexAmp also just started supporting native resolution on Android as well, so plenty of options becoming available at last, and not just USB Player Pro
With the crazy prices for SSDs (Nvme) I’m looking for a HDD Backup drive. I’m currently using a 2TB thunderbolt 4 Nvme SSD for my music library and a sandisk 2TB data SSD as backup drive.
I want to use the Sata SSD as Additional storage drive for my roon library and get a bigger HDD for backups.
What should I get ? I was thinking 8 or 12tb should be plenty. Western digital, seagate? Should I invest into a dual bay Nas solution?
On my server, I have a pair of 3 TB WD Reds for backup. These use LVM, and Borg backup runs on a mirror. There’s also 6 TB of SSD for data, and a Seagate Expansion Desk HDD for bare bones recovery (Veaam.)
When the drives are due for replacement—I have plenty of headroom—I may stick with Reds or replace with IronWolf. Again, I prefer a mirror rather than one large drive.
