I use axolotl as a supernumerary when I’m being silly.
Also a lot of people don’t know what one is so they try and find hidden meanings. Whereas the only inference is that I’m still 7 in my head.
Q. How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?

I am afraid that’s the reason why original poster got away leaving us to perish defending our attitudes and at the end not getting an answer.
Its a shame that just about any thread with anything like cables or powersupplies or other tweaks in our hobby end up as something just short of a war zone.
Opening ones mind to peoples experiences doesn’t have to involve ones brains spilling out.
No one is forced to read things here or anywhere else much less to believe or respond to one opinion or another. That is on you.

Nobody who buys new audio gear can honestly claim they tested everything on the market before making their decision. We all have our convictions, beliefs, expectations, prejudices… Nobody can seriously claim everything they think or do is based on first hand experience.
