Does Roon affect the sound quality?

You think so ? You might not believe your ears, or lack relevant experience, or simply believe in theory not in perception…

Noting also that acoustic measurements of a system or a loudspeaker in a domestic environment such as a lounge are typically much more fickle than the measurement technology itself !

And that even if for some subtle audible differences one might, with careful work, be able to point out a specific critical experiment that will point out to the analog or digital element that is responsible for the difference, experience shows this can take weeks of investigations (I read an example about amplifier comparisons)

Note that in my graph,I put the intersection as easy and the distant elements (not measurable but audible and vice-versa) as difficult to work out. But of course this is not scientific experiments, you will say. So, what about research results like these ?

Very well trained human ears challenge the principles upon which the most resolving tools can be built.
