Waited long for a working volume leveling in roon and I love the current implementation.
I set it to “Auto” and since I no longer need to have the remote near me for volume adjustment.

Agreed, it’s set to auto for all my endpoints and it’s great never being bothered by significant changes in volume. No degradation in SQ either.
Why can’t we just get both numbers displayed Crest and R128?

How does volume leveling work with TIDAL?
Tidal provides the R128 at the track gain level only (so playing complete albums with VL on could sound weird).
Hmm rather than bottom to top (which I know is the R128 standard) I wonder if average loudness to the 95 percentile of loudness is better?. The benefits of both Crest DR and R128 combined?
For whatever reason the Crest DR at the moment corresponds better to listening fatigue than the R128 Roon is showing me, when comparing different versions of the same album
