EarlyAccess: Roon 2.0 Build 1414 and ARC Build 273 is Live!

Hello Everyone,

We’re excited to announce the latest updates to Roon and ARC, focusing on crucial fixes and improvements to recently released functionalities.

This Early Access release includes a number of Airplay improvements based on your feedback, with fixes for issues affecting AppleTVs and HomePods, as well as changes targeted at stability issues and problems starting playback on a number of other devices. We are still tracking a few issues related to HomePods but the list of known Airplay issues is getting shorter every day and we are hoping to release to Production soon!

If you are running Early Access, now is the time to enable your Airplay devices and test playback, grouping, device controls, and any other Airplay functionality to ensure Roon’s Airplay 2 support is rock solid! Please let us know about any issues you run into. And thanks everyone for all the testing and feedback over the last few weeks.

Additionally, this build fine-tunes support of voice controls for both Android Auto and CarPlay ARC integrations and will align the early access group with the upcoming production build.

Thank you for your continued support,

The Team at Roon Labs
