I’ve been using Roon on Mac for a year but just moved my core to a windows machine. On Mac i could have Roon open and edit the library folder names on the fly and Roon would adjust almost straight away and never an issue. e.g. change the folder name from “Artist - Album EP” to “Artist - Album (EP)”
Now on Windows it seems i can’t change the folder name if a track is playing (fine) but worse I’ve change a few folder names and often Roon then creates a second entry for that album (and with blank metadata). Which is quite a mess and a bit of work to clear up).
Any tips? Does windows need special handling? Or have do i need to change a setting to get the Mac handling?
