My experiences with the player detection error:
Using Ropieee, the error occurs once every few startups.
Switching to GentooPlayer with the standard configuration, the error does not occur.
Changing the kernel in GentooPlayer to realtime (this option is available) – the error occurs.
Switching the kernel back to non-realtime – the error does not occur.
As can be seen, the error is related to the Linux kernel. I’m not suggesting anything to anyone, but either switching to GentooPlayer or the Ropieee author needs to change the kernel.
