GUI still says 99 (after reloading), but I restarted the Roon Remote extension.
It now shows in Roon (version upped to 0.8.2) – display is up and running again!
UPDATE: Sneaky: the 099 is on top in the blue box, but under Package ropieee-version is now 100-1. 
yeah… ‘schoonheidsfoutje’. If you reboot it will say 100 as well.
Is it ‘safe’ to download the latest image from the website? Or am i way to impatient…
It’ll reboot tonight… I’ll see 100 tomorrow.

The latest image is still the same, but during installation it will update automatically. So if you start ‘from scratch’ you’ll end up with 100 anyhow.
