I saw one such person on The Today Show about 15 years ago. He was truly smurf-blue! The doctors were telling him to stop, so they were concerned about something.
Neither here nor there. Just pointing out that Audiogon and Computer Audiophile both have way more crackpots than the Roon forum does. Maybe they are just bigger forums.

I would just like to see tweakers wrap up their reports with
“…Just to make sure, I compared my new purchase to X (the replaced bit of kit) to see if there was an audible difference…”
But I rarely see that last step of dilliegence.
The: purchase - burn in - fall in love - keep it mode, just doesn’t present as very credible.
I realise l’m flogging a dead horse here…
But one can wish…
PS I do like how intellectual (parts of) this thread have become. I will try to keep up.
