Coming to this late, but need to say that i have been using a Zen Stream for a few weeeks and it is sharing music - no interruptions or dropouts. Sound Quality seems fine - nothing added or subtracted.
I recently had an issue with another streamer and discovered the switch was bad and led to drops in connection…
I do have question of the format indicator light but will post separately.
HI folks. There’s a new official firmware for the Zen Stream. It was released today and it includes Airplay 2. BTW, the Roon Only Mode is working fine on this version.

Thanks Vitor installation from the latest beta went perfectly and only took a few minutes.
It did re-enable all the services I had disabled previously.
You’re welcome. It seems to be working just fine. I’m gonna stick to the official firmware now and stop tinkering 
Yes I would agree, but I might fall off that wagon as soon as they release a new beta with anything interesting on it 
Hopefully they can improve the quality of the beta releases
