I've fallen a little out of love with the Roon forum 💔

If it really happened that staffers changed posts without leaving a note and thereby changing what users had expressed, then I agree with @Grasshopper and @James_I that this is unacceptable.

It did. Not just change posts but delete them and then hide a thread where I explained what happened. Not the mods…Roon staff (Kevin IIRC).

Caused me to withdraw from the community for about 6 months and since then I’ve not felt the same about the community.

Here was the thread, which was (is?) hidden but not deleted:

I’m not sure what else to do but I won’t be a shill who writes marketing copy for Roon even though I use Roon every day and have recommended it to many people. That is not to imply that I haven’t, and wouldn’t otherwise in the future, say very many good things about Roon. But my thoughts are my thoughts and it’s not OK for Roon to edit them unless I am breaking forum rules. What happened? I posted a support request nearly 2 months ago about Roon slowing down more and more until it’s unusable…

To be clear, Kevin did PM me. But he effectively took control over what I could post on that matter and covered his and my tracks.
