Let’s Talk about what’s Moving and Grooving you today! [2024-02]

We have been babysitting today so playing some real wild stuff…

Actually, it’s amazing the range of stuff that you can find on Tidal et al.

My grandson has to look after a toy fox in some form of program at nursery, so we played fox songs. Whatever you do, don’t play

Cow goes mooo. I vaguely remember those hit tracks.

Highly recommend the lion roar on a full surround system at volume 11. That got a great review from the Rugrat critics.

Whale song at volume was appreciated.

@ged_hickman1 This went down a treat on our babysitting duties. The kids can still recite these songs to this day.

I got all the reissues on vinyl in 2005ish onwards. They had an album of extras as well and free download.
Example below.

Been doing the same since Sunday, watching Scrat, Sean the Sheep, Ted the Tractor, feeding & changing, waking up 4-5 times at night….I’m going home for a rest tomorrow…

Alas no quality music until Saturday….

Mr Ronald Belford Scott passed away 44 years ago this week (19th) I feel honoured to have seen that band at the height of their powers (IMHO). Tip of the hat to Bon.

Or Killing Machine, for us Brits  I loved the title track on that album (Killing Machine, not HBFL).

If there ever was an underrated artist …

I remember being obsessed with this album. Was it nearly 40 years ago! Still sounds lovely.

I’m still obsessed with this album :star_struck:
It is probably my favourite female singer song writer album that I own

I had to have a rummage upstairs. This was what got me started with her. Did not realise that Lenny Kaye was involved in the production. Listening now. :sunglasses:

Seems like the single can be purchased for a mere 10 English pounds.

I bought the album on cassette the day it was released and listened to it on my Walkman almost everyday.

Then bought it on CD and finally vinyl.

The queen and the soldier is one of the saddest songs ever written and still one of my favourite songs.

Lovin this tonight. Last one for me, as I don’t want to annoy the neighbours. You can tell the wife is out  :loud_sound:
