Sigh…I wondered how long my iPad mini4 would last before Apple in all their infinite wisdom decided to make it obsolete as their track record is pretty good in that respect.
And I guess today is that day.
It’s maxed out on iOS 15.8.1.
App store updates failed as needed iOS 16 or higher.

@AceRimmer @Oliver Yeah I was a an Apple person too for about ten years. About four years ago I left it’s ecosystem for the most part. I switched to Linux and Android, and have used GrapheneOS too. Right now I’m on Windows, but still use Linux too.
The only Apple thing I still like and use is the AppleTV.
I hated iTunes and when I left Apple I was able to clean up my music library, sort and organize it much better. Playing music was a far better experience for me on Linux over OS X. About the same time I started learning about DACs and headphone amps, and the rest has been an expensive, and fulfilling audio journey!
