When you get to the bottom of your Rabbit Hole you might well find out
Wait there, are we not on an audiophile forum
Fools maybe.
Slight grump this morning having gone to HMV to get Slowdives album on Vinyl and find its only an MP3 download. Grrrrr!!! I thought I had preordered on BC but found out I hadnt and tbh the shipping cost is extortianate as I guess its coming from the US and not the UK. So bought the digital copy from BC which was reasonable and with the Vinyl form HMV and its still less than buying the Vinyl from them which would have come with the flac as well. Sorry Slowdive but BC need to ship in local regions for a lot less.
Still not played it yet as my boy is entrenched in the front room, watching crap on TV.
I doubt the bands even heard a SACD themselves, its all old foggy boring music lke Steely Dan isnt it.
It can’t be if @Simon_Arnold3 is interested in it!
Sorry, I couldn’t help myself. I blame YOU @Menzies
Neither could I
Hmm one of your favourite lips lp’s
@CrystalGipsy Not sure if this is what you are after
I bought the regular Vinyl this morning, thanks but none of them come with a flac download unless it’s bought on BC with £14 shipping fee which is extortionate.
Playing the black shiny thing now.
As of today it is my fav Lips vinyl
I find this really frustrating as I would much prefer to buy vinyl on BC and give the band much more money, but this is literally taking the Pi$$
It is limiting my BC vinyl purchases
Are you sure , I have bought a few albums and they say it comes with mp3 but quite often when you go to the download , there is a drop down with options for flac, aiff etc
@Simon_Arnold3 Rough trade comes with download
I have just phoned up rough trade and he opened an album up to check and it has a code for a high quantity download .
Another place you could check for future purchases is

It makes no sense for a UK artists. The Life of the Honey Bee and Other Moments of Clarity on BC is £4.00 shipping, but their prices are mostly GBP. I guess those across the pond end up paying more.
As well as WFH today I have managed to collect 3 deliveries as the wife has gone shopping with one of my nieces. One was 13 pre loved vinyl’s from Discogs and another was a UMIK 1 that was in my eBay Wishlist for about a year.
No doubt eBay will start advertising these to me on a weekly basis now
I fully agree, £4 or £5 is fine, but some are £24 or £27 which is just price gouging in my mind
I removed a few recently after making it to the checkout, and bought the digital versions
