Another big success from cleaning. I think that what happened to these is that the dust has become deeply embedded into the grooves and all the bottom end seems to have disappeared and loads of sibilance on all tracks (at least that is what it feels like).
All sounds good now, but the wife has said enough of that for one evening 
Thatās why I love my Ultrasonic cleaning set up.
The ultrasonics plus heated water at around 46 c really gets the crap out of the grooves.
After a session of say 20 records Iām usually changing the water as itās full of grunge.
(No not Nirvana!)

Good to know that does make a difference, and being able to start a clean off upstairs and come down and listen to more music is the real win 
I will be trying that tomorrow and also taking my empty bottle of distilled water to be topped up

Thanks Michael. I donāt think itās something I need at this moment. However, I have decided to keep a log of the condition of each album that I play from now on. Scoring system of 1 being perfect, to 5 being terrible. This will give me an indication if I perhaps need a cleaning bath in the future. At the moment I just clean with a spray and cloth, which seems to work well for most of my older albums.
No I havenāt, is it recommended?
My wife hates this album, and this is the first time I have made it to the end when she has been in the house

This is a cracker of an album. Although a warning to anyone who may be contemplating seeing the live show.
