True, and we returned genres like this to be untranslated in the German version, of course.
However, the initial translation had been done with automatic translation by Roon Labs and was horrendous. (IIRC you speak German and will therefore appreciate the original disaster visible here: German genre translations? - #7 by Olaf_Mueller)
We found out shortly before release (I use Roon in English and therefore didn’t see it earlier), which is why I and others took it upon ourselves to fix as much as we could in the short time left.
However, it was a huge amount of work, and I alone spent about 20 hours over a weekend for free. It was not fun.
I don’t know how the situation is in other languages, but I believe German is one of the languages with the largest translation coverage generally in Roon.
If one is a user of a less well-maintained language and is left with the original automatic translations (and there were similar complaints from users of other languages before), then it is IMHO perfectly understandable if one doesn’t want to do this manual work alone and would rather simply switch back to English genres.
