Running Roon Core on 2012 Mac Mini(Catalina 10.15) with 500GB SSSD. Library is on an external 1TB Thunderbolt SSD. No issues with multiple Meridian zones Everthing is connected via Ethernet with the Exception of the iPad Pro

Similar here, but works well with spinning discs for the library.
