Moderation in MQA Threads

I think it would improve moderation if there were a “Refer to topic” link when easy and available.

This is actually available to everybody, but it’s somewhat hidden in Discourse (the software application used for the Forum), so not many of us know about it (including me, until recently). See here:

Reply as Linked Topic

I recently posted in the revised guidelines thread about a feature that is hidden away in Discourse. I thought it deserved a thread of its own to ensure people become more familiar with it. One of the actions referred to in the revised guidelines is “Reply as linked topic”. This is an excellent way to start a new thread/conversation linking back to an existing post, rather than taking the existing thread off topic. Trouble is that this action is quite hidden away.
