Most stable I’ve ever had Roon - Proxmox / Ubuntu VM

I managed it to install ROCK under proxmox on a Dell Optiplex 3050 thanks to many hints and tips in this an other forums.

For those who try it with the newest proxmox 9.x I recommend this video:

Last issue I had to solve was as roon installer failed to create a partition. 32 GB of HD-space was to small. I recommend 64 GB If available.

I’ll say that for me it was easier not to run ROCK, but just to create a Ubuntu LXC and follow the normal Roon linux install. I figured that if I was virtualizing, all the normal arguments for running a stripped-down OS were kind of moot anyways. Helps with observability etc. too. But glad this works for you!
