ow! so it works! nice to hear. then I’ll add this DAC to the list.

Hey @joel how does DSD512 sound with your Pi.

Any pops in the audio? Not the pops due to PCM/DSD transitions at the start of tracks, but pops throughout songs, during quiet parts of tracks.

Like the small pops you’d hear on old vinyl.

And what DAC is your Matrix converter feeding (if you don’t mind me asking).

@spockfish You have busted this one as well !!!

I can confirm Native DSD Playback for M2TECH YOUNG MkIII.
You can add this in your compatibility list.

Thanks Harry

Oh this is really nice! Thanks for reporting back!

Hi @Vasilis_Anastasiou

I’m going to by an Young MkIII DAC like yours. One guy in this forum said that he had problem(static noise) when changing the track, or moving from MQA to non-MQA track(Roon Bridge is Ropieee). Do you have the same problem?

Waiting for you reply, thank you and have a good day.

Hi @Airman,

I have absolutely NO problem. Roppieee works great and Young MKIII is so great it is competing with DACs double its price range. The combination is awesome. Features Native DSD and full MQA Hardware decoding.
BTW add the external power supply on the DAC. Huge improvement.
At your disposal for additional questions.
Regards,
Vasilis
