Well @RBM I’m probably an impulsive fool, but just ordered the brooklyn dac+ (I ordered a Project Pre Box S2 Digital earlier this week, but amazon.de was too difficult about address confirmation by fax (???) so I canceled my order).
I do use headphones/turntable as well so the Brooklyn fits my needs better anyway, just bit more expensive.
We’ll see how it goes with the DigiOne, or Node2, or USBridge.
How’s the brocklyn Dacia with allo kit?
Brooklyn Dac+ with the Allo USBridge sounds excellent! So far I think my wyred4sound 2v2 dac sound a little better (more refined sound), but it is still early days. I moved the allo DigiOne and the w4s dac to my second listening room (office/study).
I also bought a Sennheiser HD650 headphone, as the brooklyn+ is also a headphone amplifier, and this sounds amazing. Next job is to connect my turntable to the brooklyn and listen how that sounds. So all in all I am a happy camper!
