Until now I could not find the trade-in action for Nucleus or Nucleus+ for One or Titan for Europe, like it is offered in US.
Does someone know, if it is planned for Europe too?

I asked the question on Twitter and here, never got a reply.
So as usual in Europe we pay a higher price, with ridiculously high taxes on top of it and we donāt get the discounts the US gets.
But weāre used to get milked by the EU.
Use something else, a NUC for example and install dietpi.
The EU is not responsible for the VAT in individual EU countries nor for trade-in schemes by manufacturers. Thereās a little EU import tax but I think itās lower than the typical price differential chosen by US manufacturers.
Well, if there is no trade-in offer in EU planned, then there is no reason to change from my Nucleus+ to Titan. Its easy
Looking to purchase one from the APAC store (Australia) and I have a question about the power supply and cord that Iām hoping the community can help answer for me
Iāve been told that when purchasing from the APAC store that it comes with a Type F power cord and that I would need an adaptor (Australia is Type I)
But I note from 24s in the unboxing video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wicfuf6HHG0 that the power cord looks separate from the power supply so was thiking I could just get a Type I power cord. I just need to know the specification of the plug on the power supply. It looks like an IEC C15 from the video but obviously hard to know for sure. Wondering if anyone here can confirm the specification for me.
Is it just me or did the price on the APAC store just get raised $80 SGD from $700SGD to $780SGD
The exchange rate of $500US to SGD comes out at about $670 SGD so $700SGD seemed about right. Now itās been significanltly increased to $780SGD. With an extra $160SGD shipping its getting to be a very expensive āaffordableā solution
Nope. They certainly did raise the price!
Itās an absolute no for me - shipping is rather insane.

Why has Singapore been chosen as the centre for APAC sales of the Nucleus One?
I would have thought Australia would have been the more logical choice and definitely more favourable to us Aussies.
As it is the shipping to Australia alone is $160.
This, together with the Singapore Dollar to Australian Dollar conversion, suddenly the cost is nearly AUD$1000. I would dearly love to buy a Nucleus One, but this price is ridiculous.
Hi there,
Would it be possible to improve on the shipping quality? My Nucleus Titan got shipped to France by eDHL on December 23rd and without any prior notice we got a phone call on December 26th by a subcontracting party. As we were not at home at the time, they shipped it right back to where it came from (The Netherlands).
Honestly I would have gladly paid a few extra Euros for premium delivery, a delivery window of my choice, prior notice and/or the possibility to even pick it up myself at a DHL location near to where I live.
This was a leap of faith being forced into buying online, we buy all of our equipment from our HiFi dealer after looking at it, touching it and listening to it. One thing is sure, the process of shipping and delivering the equipment is not even at the height of buying a pair of ordinary sneakers at some online store as most of them will attempt a second delivery on demand.
Regards,
Marc Geerts
You donāt need to be worried here, the titan is not hi-fi equipment, just a computer.
True, a very expensive computer and still kind of disappointing to find that the people from roonlabs.eu having been contracted to distribute these products across Europe have teamed up with DHL eCommerce, pretty good service in the Netherlands only, crappy service everywhere else.
They are not even capable of delivering with DHL in France, I got a phonecall from Chronopost for an unannounced delivery and when I told them we were not at home they shipped it right back toā¦the Netherlands. Where it has not arrived yet, no tracking updates since December 30th.
Yes itās frustrating, it shouldnāt be that difficult.
There should be the option of collecting it with id.
I created an account at dhlecommerce.nl, they state there are all sorts of options and preferences you can set but it will not accept my home address in my account. Outside the Netherlands you do not seem to have any of the options they advertise.
The person delivering to my home address wasnāt even DHL and did not propose any options other than delivering to my neighbours. At the time (between Christmas and New Year) we were out and my neighbours too. I also want to receive the server myself, as the price is pretty steep.
Have the Nucleus One (and Titan) arrived to the european distributor now? And are they ready for shipping to countries within the EU?
The Roon distributor in the Netherlands confirmed to me that delivery for Europe will begin at the end of January!
