I believe this will be incorporated when Roon complete their work on Roon Mobile.

In the meantime, an option could be to enable last.fm scrobbling in Roon and then view your playing history their site.

Does the IOS or Android device running as a remote need to connect to the Roon core on the same network only or can the remote device access the Roon core from afar … say like my hotel room on a trip?

It would be great to be able to take the music away with us, via sync (or via streaming), directly to mobile devices. Space is not an issue for us lucky Android users whom have Micro SD card capability and for the rest, there’s always streaming.
