Paul Simon is the face of "African Traditions"?

An option to get out of this conundrum that just came to my mind would be to let users choose a genre image.

Hey Jamie - didn’t think of that. Done, but…

Still, after looking more closely at how the HOME page “Genres for you” changes over time it’s apparent that the Genres will vary based on listening behaviors. However, the Artist Images associated with the Genres on this Home page appear to be fixed in some fashion and not related to the user’s library or listening. The actual Artist Image may vary based on whether the Genres box is square or rectangular but it does seem the same Artist is displayed.**

I have no idea how the images are determined, but in any case given the very controversial relationship of Paul Simon with South African music and his background as well as cultural implications, the use of his image in this case is highly problematic* and I would wish that you bring this to the attention of those who could look into this further.

Thank you

Regards,
Rich

**Addendum: I’m wrong. Was rolling my eyes when my “Genres for you” showed Brooklyn’s Antibalas for “Afro-beat” which is not terrible, but right next to this was Fela – the inventor of Afro-beat – as the image for “Afro-Pop”; however it now changed to showing Fela for “Afro-beat” and Ladysmith Black Mambazo for “Afro-pop” So I don’t have a clue how it works but still could use some tweaking. Thanks
