Pink Floyd albums from Qobuz no longer available

How is this done, finding unavailable albums that need re-adding?

If you had tracks in a playlist in Tidal you can see that they are no longer available. I’ve just noticed that all but one album by Sixtoo have disappeared (because I had a playlist that had a bunch of his albums in it). I have another playlist with around 250 tracks in it that is missing 8 other tracks. In the early days of streaming Rhapsody would frequently have tracks or artists disappear, either longer term, like they were rotating which discographies they were actively licensing, or just for a day or two like they had forgotten to renew a license and it was sufficient to change the unique identifier for an artist or track and you’d have to go re-add the same track to a playlist because the playlist pointed at the old location for the track that didn’t exist anymore.

This is the first time I can remember where I’ve seen this many tracks disappear off Tidal.

Go into library > tracks > FOCUS

and check “Available” twice (to make it “Not available”)

that will create a list of only unavailable tracks…

Then go in the upper right to the Bookmarks and Add Bookmark.

Most annoying is, if albums disappear and if you search you find it and only the Id has changed. But all your edits and stats are gone. That is that Roon could handle by offering a function to replace a missing album with a new one and keep the metadata.

Did not work with Tidal!

Yeah it doesn’t work with Tidal. Qobuz only feature

Odd, works for me. (you can see a tidal track in my “Unavailable” list)

Interesting, possibly works for the odd unavailable track in an album or playlist that still exists? But whole albums just go away?

are you meaning for the “focus” (and bookmark) thing? Nope, full albums are in there. That Bill Evans album in my first screenshot was completely unavailable.

Cool, maybe something changed on the Tidal front. I’m locked into Qobuz now so won’t be resubscribing to test it myself.

Yes, I also see tracks from 2 albums in this few.
But I do not see the other 23 albums which disappeared in the last 5 weeks (I checked by comparing an excel export list with all Tidal albums once a month). 21 of them could be re-added, but all edits and stats are gone. A shame!
@Roon, please do something, this makes a big part of your software useless.

Although you can’t do it in the Qobuz app, you can remove it from your Roon library. Open the unavailable album in Roon, tap on the 3 dots near the Play Now button, then select Remove From Library.
