You should see an improvement over the all-in-one Roon, as you won’t have garbage collection contention between UI and Server.
If you were already just running the all-in-one Roon as a remote, you wont see any improvement.
A question on Roon 1.8 related to the new build of Roon 2.0
I am using Roon 1.8 (build 1151) and since a few weeks i get a message to update Roon every time i use Roon on my ipad/iphone. I think it started with the latest build of Roon 2.0 and it seems it is trying to update from 1.8 to 2.0 (I can’t find any newer build of 1.8 - 1151)
I want to stay a 1.8. How can i get rid of the annoying message.
Any help is much appreciated,
