I haven’t proceeded any further as I am now going to use the Roon Extension API, so that this can work with a headless install etc.

Hi,

I would also like to control playback from a remote contro to my Intel NUC running Roon Server. Is this possible at this point?

Would like either one of these:

  • The Intel NUC accepting the DAC8DSD IR remote signals and mapping them to play/pause buttons of Roon Server on predefined default zone. Possible even mapping the On/off of this NUC.
  • Roon server receiving and processing commands from the DAC directly
