I just looked at my concert notes to see when I saw Ozzy, and it was 16 August 1981 on the Blizzard of Ozz tour and Randy Rhodes was the guitartist.. Def Leppard opened up ( they were touring High and Dry)

Late reply but this was possibly the heaviest, loudest and most absolutely fun show I ever saw.
It was a true one off as the residents refused to have the heavy metal rabble in their town again.
It might not come as any surprise but when Ozzy took the stage they promptly blew all the fuses for the power to the pa and amps🤣

Ozzy was a lovable character. This made him universally likable regardless of genre folks liked.

I saw a still photo of his funeral. A bit like Keith Richards in that he was never harmful nor inappreciative.
