It’s only for external DAC so no DAP support yet.
tried ARC 1.0.5 in USB/bit-perfect mode on a HiBy New R6 (2020) running Android 9 outputting via USB-C to a Topping E50 DAC: everything downsampled to 44.1kHz, no MQA, just like without bit-perfect mode.
I am a bit confused, I didn’t see a thread about it but basically we agree that the new feature of Roon ARC, MUSE correct the “48khz resampling issue”?
When I am looking at the path I see MQA pushed to 384khz and 192khz Flac resampled (I guess for internal processing) at 384khz too, all 24bits.
Did I miss something?
hi,
any idea is that at all possible or considered as a feature for future ARC? I want bitperfect ARC on my new M17
just compared one album in Qobuz app vs. streamed from qobuz thru ARC resampled - difference is rather huge
They have said it’s on the agenda, but as ARC has other issues they need to sort out, I doubt it will be any time soon.
While we’re at it, ROON ARC still downsamples everything which is really not what I signed up for since EVERY OTHER APP SEEMS TO BE ABLE TO PLAY BIT PERFECT ON MY FiiO!!!
Again, sorry, deep breaths and all that but gee whiz!
Anyway, have a nice evening everyone,
Roman
Yeah, this being not fixed even to this day is quite infuriating and even more so considering the price of Roon.
It has been three years! THREE YEARS!!! In the same timeframe I graduated from high school and now I’m 2nd year in university! And still it’s not been looked into!
JUST LET US TURN OFF SRC!!! It’s this simple!
