I’m not a hardcore Bandcamp buyer, but what I really appreciate about this service is that it probably pays out the most to the artists themselves.
A big drawback with Bandcamp for me is that HiRes albums are not labeled as such. This fact has caused a positive surprise for me once or twice, but in case you value HiRes, this is a pig in a poke.
Therefore, I usually look first at Qobuz for the desired album, where such albums are marked and if they are “only” available in CD quality, I buy them from Bandcamp and let me surprise what I get.
